In a series of tweets, former US President Donald Trump roasted his successor Joe Biden for his use of an autopen signature, calling it "controversial," and "one of the worst ever."

Trump, who himself granted a series of last-minute pardons and commutations before exiting office, also suggested that the current president could face karma for his actions.

The controversy pertains to the use of an automated signing pen, an apparatus that duplicates a person's signature and is commonly used for signing hundreds of documents and allocation of authorisation.
