Latest Hyderabad news updates: In the city of Hyderabad, India, police recently arrested two individuals for stealing a firefighter's motorcycle and discovered 10 stolen mobile phones in their possession. The suspects, including a minor, were caught at a vehicle checkpoint with the stolen motorcycle. Inspector Ramesh Naik revealed that the suspects admitted to stealing multiple vehicles by breaking handle locks and manipulating ignition wires. Police also discovered four more stolen motorcycles hidden by the suspects in Shaikpet. In a separate case, a Sessions Court in Sangareddy sentenced three individuals to 10 years in prison and a $1,000 fine for possessing 22 kg of dried ganja 6 years ago. According to the prosecution, the trio was arrested by Medak enforcement officials in 2018 after being tipped off about their illegal activities. The judge convicted them under the NDPS Act, 1985, and sentenced them to 10 years in prison and a $1,000 fine.

In a separate incident, a 50-year-old woman was murdered in her flat in the Kukatpally area, allegedly by domestic helps. The victim, Renuka Agarwal, was found dead with multiple stab wounds on her body. Police identified the suspects as Harsha and Roshan, both 20-year-old natives of Jharkhand, who had been working for the family for 10 days. The crime was discovered when the victim's husband and son returned home and found the door locked, with no response from inside the flat. Investigation revealed that the suspects had stolen approximately Rs. 1 lakh in cash and may have taken other valuables.
