Supreme Court of India Junior Court Assistant Recruitment 2025

The Supreme Court of India has invited applications for the post of Junior Court Assistant. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official website sci.gov.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 241 vacancies in the organization. The registration process begins on February 5, 2025, and will conclude on March 8, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Junior Court Assistant post, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Additionally, they should have a minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on a computer and must be proficient in computer operations. The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 30 years as of March 8, 2025.

Selection Process

The selection process comprises multiple stages. It begins with a written test, which includes an objective-type paper lasting two hours, a descriptive-type paper of the same duration, and a typing test that will be conducted for ten minutes. Only candidates who qualify in the Objective Type Written Test and Objective Type Computer Knowledge Test will be called for the Typing Speed Test and the Descriptive Test. Those who successfully clear these rounds will be required to appear before an Interview Board and must secure the minimum qualifying marks to proceed further.

Application Fee

Applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee through the UCO Bank payment gateway. The fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 1000/-, while SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Differently Abled, and Freedom Fighter candidates are required to pay Rs. 250/-, along with applicable bank charges. Payments in any other form will not be accepted, and postal applications will not be entertained.
