IIT (BHU) Achieves Record Placement and Internship Offers for 2025

The Indian Institute of Technology(Banaras Hindu University) (IIT-BHU) has set a new benchmark in its placementdrive, securing an impressive 1,128 placement offers and 424 internship offersas of January 31, 2025. This remarkable achievement reflects the institute'sacademic excellence and strong ties with the industry.

Among the standout placementachievements, the highest Cost to Company (CTC) package offered to a student isan exceptional Rs 2.20 crore per annum. The average annual package for studentsstands at Rs 22.80 lakh, continuing a consistent upward trend in compensationover the years.

IIT-BHU's Director, Professor AmitPatra, expressed pride in these accomplishments, noting that this year'splacement results further solidify IIT-BHU's position as a premier institutionfor producing industry-ready graduates. "Our students' exceptional talent,along with the institute's dedication to academic and research excellence,consistently attracts top-tier recruiters," he stated.

The ongoing placement season has seenparticipation from over 350 companies spanning multiple industries, includingtechnology, consulting, finance, and core engineering. Renowned companies suchas Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Tata Steel, Databricks, Oracle,Walmart, ITC, and Qualcomm were among the major recruiters.

Professor Patra added that IIT-BHUremains dedicated to fostering both academic excellence and strong industrypartnerships, ensuring that students receive unmatched career opportunities.With the placement season still underway, the institute anticipates evengreater success in the months to come.
