Hate propaganda on the rise in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh state

An increase in posters and banners spreading communal hatred and abusing casts or communities has led the Prakasam district superintendent of police A.R. Damodar to issue a warning. The police will file criminal cases against anyone involved in creating the hateful material, including those who design and print it. All suspects will face arrest and shop sealing as punishment.

Damodar advised political activists, youth, and organizations to express their views peacefully, stating that the police are prepared to protect everyone who wishes to express their views or beliefs without impacting the peace in the district. He emphasized that criminal charges would also be pressed for anyone found guilty of sharing abusive content on social media.

The police are committed to ensuring peace and will take all measures to prevent hatred and unrest in the community.
