Vote for Revanth is a vote for Modi: KTR

KT Rama Rao, the working president of the BRS party, has accused the Congress of "intimidating voters" ahead of the upcoming Telangana state polls by threatening to halt welfare schemes if people do not support them.

Addressing a meeting of BRS workers at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday, Rao, who is the brother of the state's chief minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, said that in the 22 months of governance, Revanth Reddy did not do "a single good deed for the people."

Rao, who is popularly known as KTR, went on to criticize the Congress for failing to deliver on promises and shifting blame onto debts for its own inefficiency. He further questioned whether "Indiramma Rajyam" means demolishing homes in the name of HYDRAA, warning voters that a mistaken vote for Congress would effectively license the government to demolish houses.

He urged the minorities to "recognize the reality," accusing Reddy of acting like a BJP CM, treating Modi as his elder brother, and working under his guidance. "A vote for Revanth-led Congress is essentially a vote for Modi and BJP," he said.

Rao also criticized the Congress for neglecting the numerous welfare and development schemes for minorities implemented by the BRS, pointing out that Congress formed a government without a single minority minister.

He recalled the late Maganti Gopinath, describing the by-election as unwanted and unfortunate. He urged the party workers to campaign vigorously for a bumper majority, replicate Hyderabad's past support, and reaffirm the city as a "Gulabi Adda."
