The Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) will be hosting a two-day Traffic Summit 2025 on September 18th and 19th to advance road safety and promote a culture of responsible commuting in Hyderabad. The event will take place at Jal Vihar, Necklace Road, Hyderabad, and promises to be a mix of activities, including policy discussions, workshops, entertainment, training sessions, and more.

The key themes of the summit include safe cities, sustainable transport, inclusive mobility, road safety design, technology and the future of mobility, and public participation and governance. The summit's logo was unveiled at the press conference by Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner (Traffic), Convenor, Traffic Forum, HCSC, and Rajashekar Reddy, Joint Secretary, Traffic Forum, HCSC. Davis commented on the event, saying, "Traffic Summit 2025 reflects our commitment to making travel in Hyderabad safe, efficient, and inclusive."

Rajashekar added, "This summit will spotlight critical themes like sustainable transport and inclusive mobility, while also emphasizing public participation in governance. We envision Hyderabad as a model for road safety and smart mobility."

This summit intends to focus on proposing policy initiatives on first and last-mile connectivity for the future of Hyderabad. A variety of stakeholders will be in attendance, including policymakers, enforcement agencies, community leaders, and NGOs.
