Bayern Loanee Nicolas Jackson Takes Swipe at Chelsea

Bayern Munich loanee Nicolas Jackson has taken a swipe at parent club Chelsea, saying he feels he's now where he's "really wanted".

The Jamaican forward arrived at the Allianz Arena in the summer transfer window but has struggled to establish himself under managerial great Thomas Tuchel, scoring just one goal for the Blues in 16 appearances.

But the 21-year-old, who had an impressive spell on loan at Belgian side Club Bruges last season scoring nine times in 11 appearances has now expressed his delight at being wanted at Bayern.

"I'm happy to be here, it's a big club, where they really wanted me," Jackson told the German press. "They expressed their desire to have me, they spoke to my agent and it was a straightforward decision. I'm where I am really wanted."

Despite his encouraging comments, Jackson has struggled to make an impact at Bayern since his loan move. The forward has made just four appearances for the first team, all from the bench, and is yet to register a goal or assist.

With the January transfer window opening in less than two months, Jackson could find himself loaned out again to get more game time as he looks to kick on and help Jamaica qualify for the World Cup.

Only time will tell if he'll get another chance to impress at Bayern or if he'll be sacrificed in the quest for reinforcements in January.
