Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has appealed to officials and trust board members to ensure the success of the upcoming 11-day Sarannavaratri Vutchavams festival. The festival is scheduled to be held from September 22 to October 2 at the Rajarajeswari temple in the city. Speaking at a review meeting with Revenue, Police, and Endowment officials on Friday, the MLA requested officials to take steps to avoid any untoward incidents in view of the heavy influx of devotees during the ceremony. The MLA urged the police department to establish a police check post on the premises of the temple to prevent thefts during the event. He also ordered the temple authorities to prioritize common public attendance for free and smooth deity viewing, foregoing any special exceptions for himself.

The MLA suggested trust board members avoid setting up Flex Boards of politicians or figures at the ceremony premises, as these would spoil the spiritual atmosphere of the event. He emphasized the need to maintain a spiritual environment to perform the festival.
