After assuming charge as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Prakasam district, V. Harshavardhan Raju stated that maintaining law and order, reducing crime, tackling cyber offenses and guaranteeing the safety of women and children would be his top priorities. He was felicitated by senior police officials including ASP (Admin) K. Nageswara Rao and Additional ASP (AR) K. Srinivasa Rao, along with all DSPs, CIs, RIs, and SIs as he took his new role.

# Dedicated to Serve

On the occasion, the new SP expressed his privilege to serve in a district named after freedom fighter and Andrah Pradesh's first Chief Minister Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu. He also vowed to uphold its honor through dedicated policing. He assured that the police would remain accessible to the public, act firmly against crime and anti-social activities, and strengthen women's safety measures, including awareness about the Shakti app. He concluded his vows by stating that there would be no compromise on peace and security and that his goal was to make Prakasam a crime-free district.

# Outgoing SP AR Damodar's Farewell

The district police gave outgoing SP A.R. Damodar a grand farewell after he was transferred to Vizianagaram. A ceremonial parade, floral tributes, and an open-top jeep procession marked the send-off and reflected the affection of the police personnel. Damodar, recalling his tenure, thanked the public, media, and police staff for their cooperation. He expressed gratitude to the state government for the opportunity and extended gratitude towards all his supporting staff, he stated that his time in Prakasam would forever be unforgettable.
