Nellore, India, celebrated Yeti Panduga, also known as Gobbemmala Panduga, with a flurry of activities, including flying kites, immersing Gobbemmalu (bobbles) in the water, setting up temporary spiritual structures, and playing games. The festival, which is part of the Sankranti celebrations, saw the cooperation of the Municipal Administration and the police department, which together ensured seamless arrangements for the event. People were also seen enjoying meals together and creating a joyous atmosphere on the river banks.

Temple authorities also set up temporary structures with religious idols such as Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and Lakshmi Devi on the banks of Pennar river, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the festival. Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Ponguru Narayana visited the festival and expressed satisfaction with the arrangements, engaging with attendees while enjoying a meal with them.
