Gukesh Dommaraju’s winless streak inthe Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Tour event in Weissenhaus, Germany, continued onTuesday as he was held to a draw by world No. 2 Hikaru Nakamura. The twoplayers agreed to a draw after 59 moves, marking the longest game on Day 5 ofthe event at the Weissenhaus Private Nature Luxury Resort, where Gukesh playedwith the black pieces.
This was the second time the18-year-old Indian Grandmaster held Nakamura to a draw in the tournament.
