YSRCP Accuses Andhra Pradesh Coalition of Political Revenge

In a recent development, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has leveled serious accusations against the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh, led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The YSRCP's working president, MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy, has claimed that the government is engaging in a calculated campaign of political retribution, targeting YSRCP leaders with what they deem to as illegal and baseless cases.

The latest incident involves the arrest of Veeri Chalapathi Rao, the former Chairman of the District Cooperative Marketing Society (DCMS), who was taken into custody by Nellore police on Saturday. This arrest has sparked outrage among YSRCP members, who believe it is an attempt to settle scores rather than serve justice. Parvathareddy, accompanied by former Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy and MLC Meriga Muralidhar, visited Rao at the Nellore rural police station, questioning the timing and nature of the charges.

Parvathareddy Reddy asserted that the case against Rao, pertaining to an incident from six years ago, was trivial and should not have warranted such severe charges. He accused the police of acting under the influence of ruling party leaders, registering the case under non-bailable sections. The YSRCP leader further criticized Chief Minister Naidu for allegedly prioritizing personal gain over state development, accusing him of attempting to privatize 17 medical colleges established during the YSRCP's tenure.

With the YSRCP vowing to challenge these actions legally, the political climate in Andhra Pradesh is heating up. This incident raises questions about the impartiality of law enforcement and the potential misuse of power by political parties. As the YSRCP gears up for a legal battle, the public awaits further developments, hoping for a resolution that upholds justice and political integrity.
