With over 10 lakh CCTV cameras installed, the state has witnessed a transformation in policing, enabling the swift resolution of sensational crimes within 48-72 hours. However, Jitender cautioned against over-reliance on technology, emphasizing the need for a balanced approach where human capability and technology work in synergy.

The outgoing DGP also acknowledged the state's peaceful law and order situation, attributing it to the force's professionalism in maintaining communal harmony and handling Naxal and terror-related issues. He expressed gratitude for the state government's support in expanding the police force, with recent recruitments of over 14,000 personnel and the appointment of 113 direct DSPs. On a personal note, Jitender reminisced about his initial concerns as a Punjab native assigned to the Andhra Pradesh cadre, but he found a home in Hyderabad, thanks to the support of his seniors and family.

As Jitender's tenure concludes, Telangana Police looks forward to the leadership of Shivadhar Reddy, whose expertise in urban policing and counter-terror operations will undoubtedly contribute to the state's security and the force's continued success.
