The Indian electronics industry is poised for a significant boost, with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) receiving an overwhelming response to its initiative. In a recent announcement, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw revealed that the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme has attracted 249 applications, a figure that far exceeds initial expectations.
