The inauguration of the Vishwa Samudra Bio-Ethanol Plant in Nellore district marks a new era for the region's agricultural sector and renewable energy goals.

The plant, a 340-crore investment by the Chinta Sasidhar Foundation, stands tall on 24 acres of land, boasting a daily captive power generation capacity of 200 kilolitres. With a monthly target of 15,000 tonnes of broken rice from over 300 nearby rice mills, the plant ensures a robust local economy and a steady income stream for farmers within a 250-km radius.

The Chief Minister's endorsement highlights the project's alignment with the government's vision for a greener, more sustainable India. The event also witnessed the launch of the Nandha Gokulam Life School and the Nandha Gokulam Save The Bull Cause, emphasizing the foundation's commitment to holistic development. With local leaders and politicians in attendance, including Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and Sarvepalli MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, the inauguration marked a significant milestone in Andhra Pradesh's journey towards socio-economic growth and environmental sustainability.
