Samarth Incubation Program: Empowering India’s Telecom and IT Startups

The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT) has launched the Samarth Incubation Program to support and nurture startups in India’s telecommunications and IT sectors. In collaboration with the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), the program aims to drive innovation and technological advancements in key areas such as 5G/6G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber Security, Internet of Things (IoT), and Quantum Technologies.

The Samarth program is designed to promote sustainable and scalable business models. Selected startups will receive significant support, including grants of up to 5 lakh INR, six months of well-furnished office space at the C-DOT campus, and access to C-DOT lab facilities. In addition, participants will benefit from mentorship provided by industry experts and technical leaders.

The program operates in a hybrid mode, with two cohorts planned, each lasting six months. A total of 36 startups will be involved. Samarth also offers valuable networking opportunities, connecting startups with investors and industry leaders to foster collaboration and growth. This initiative aims to strengthen the startup ecosystem, paving the way for job creation and long-term innovation.

Startups showing promise will also have the opportunity to collaborate further through the C-DOT Collaborative Research Program, enhancing their potential for future growth and impact in the tech industry.
