TPSC JE 2025: Application Deadline Extended – Apply by April 7

The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has extended the application deadline for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment exam 2025. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications through the official website, tpsc.tripura.gov.in, until April 7, 2025. The previous deadline was March 21, 2025.

The official notification states: "It is informed to all concerned that the Commission has extended the online application deadline to April 7, 2025 (5:30 PM) for the ongoing recruitment process of Junior Engineer, Grade-1 & Grade-II, Civil Engineering under the RD Department, Government of Tripura. All other terms and conditions will remain unchanged."

Steps to Apply for TPSC JE 2025:

·       Visit the official website, tpsc.tripura.gov.in.

·       Click on the online application link on the homepage.

·       You will be redirected to a new page.

·       Enter your login details and register.

·       Pay the application fee and submit the form.

·       Save the application form for future reference.

Salary:

·        Junior Engineer Grade-I: Rs. 47,600

·        Junior Engineer Grade-II: Rs. 34,700

Educational Qualifications:

·        A Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution.

·        Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) is mandatory.

Selection Process:

The selection process consists of three stages:

1.     Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type, 100 Marks)

This is a screening test to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination. The marks obtained in this stage will not be considered for the final selection. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks (40% for UR and 30% for reserved category candidates) to proceed.

2.     Main (Written) Examination (500 Marks)

Only candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination will be eligible for the Main Examination. Candidates must score at least 40% (UR) or 30% (Reserved Category) in the aggregate to qualify for the Interview-cum-Personality Test.

3.     Interview-cum-Personality Test (50 Marks)

Candidates shortlisted from the Main Examination will be eligible for the Interview-cum-Personality Test, which evaluates communication skills, personality, and overall suitability for the position.
