The banks of the Pennar River in Nellore transformed into a vibrant hub of cultural festivities as the city celebrated Yeti Panduga, a beloved tradition marking the Sankranti festival. The festival, also known as Gobbemmala Panduga, featured the unique tradition of immersing Gobbemmalu into the river, a ritual that drew hundreds of participants. They installed a temporary structure showcasing the idols of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and Goddess Lakshmi Devi on the riverbank, providing a divine conclusion to the festivities.
