Miyapur, Jeedimetla, and other key areas were hotspots for these violations, with Miyapur leading the count. Notably, young adults aged 21 to 40 were predominantly involved, a worrying trend among this demographic.

The Cyberabad Police have issued a stern warning, emphasizing the severe consequences of drunk driving. Under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, offenders causing fatal accidents face culpable homicide charges, up to a decade in prison, and substantial fines. This recent drive follows last week's enforcement, where 372 cases resulted in a range of penalties, including fines and jail time.
