Dampoori Mallikarjuna, a 45-year-old resident of Chamdala village, met his fate while attempting to cross the swollen Nerella stream on his motorcycle. Swift response from local officials, including the Jaladanki tahsildar and sub-inspector, led to the recovery of Mallikarjuna's body with the aid of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
