Hyderabad Police's Community Connect: 300+ Homes Searched

In a massive community engagement and security operation, Hyderabad Police conducted a cordon and search mission in Tolichowki, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for public safety. The operation, led by Hyderabad Commissioner of Police CV Anand, saw a formidable force of 250 police personnel descend upon the Paramount Colony area in the early hours of Friday morning.

The operation, a component of the Community Contact Program, aimed to address security concerns and verify the documentation of residents. The police teams meticulously checked over 300 houses, seizing 28 two-wheelers, two cars, and an auto rickshaw for documentation irregularities. The discovery of illegally stored domestic gas cylinders in one residence further underscored the operation's importance.

The search operation also focused on foreign nationals, with 28 African individuals taken to the police station for passport verification. Authorities revealed that 16 of these foreigners were living illegally with expired visas, unable to produce valid documents. The police have vowed to take legal action against those with invalid or expired passports and will book cases against individuals failing to provide proper documentation.

The operation's scope extended beyond Tolichowki, with a similar initiative conducted in CC Nagar, Bansilalpet, the previous night. This operation, led by B Anand, Addl. DCP, Central Zone, and A Yadagiri, ACP Gandhi Nagar division, checked 250 houses, seizing various contraband items, vehicles, and questioning suspects.

As the dust settles on these operations, the Hyderabad Police's commitment to community engagement and security is evident. The force's comprehensive approach, involving high-ranking officials and a significant number of personnel, sends a clear message of vigilance and proactive community interaction.
