Job seekers eyeing government opportunities in 2025 have reason to cheer as the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Rajasthan Police have rolled out large-scale recruitment drives, offering a combined total of 9,777 vacancies.

Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2025

The Rajasthan Police Department has issued a recruitment notification for 9,617 constable posts. The online application process will commence on April 28, 2025, via the official portal.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board and cleared the Rajasthan CET (Class 12 level).

Physical Standards:

• Height: 168 cm (men), 152 cm (women)
• Chest (Men): 81 cm (unexpanded), 86 cm (expanded)
• Running Test: 5 km in 25 minutes (men), 35 minutes (women)

Age Criteria (as of January 1, 2026):

• Driver Posts:
• Male: Born between Jan 2, 1999 – Jan 1, 2008
• Female: Born between Jan 2, 1994 – Jan 1, 2008
• Other Posts:
• Male: Born between Jan 2, 2002 – Jan 1, 2008
• Female: Born between Jan 2, 1997 – Jan 1, 2008

Selection Process:

1. Written Examination
2. Physical Test
3. Skill Test
4. Document Verification
5. Medical Examination

Application Fee:

• General/OBC (Creamy Layer)/Other State Candidates: Rs 600
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/SC/ST (Rajasthan): Rs 400

Salary: As per Pay Matrix Level 5

DRDO GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2025

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced 150 apprentice vacancies at its Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE). Interested candidates can apply via the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: nats.education.gov.in.

Vacancy Details:

• Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineering): 75 posts
• Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Non-Engineering): 30 posts
• Diploma Apprentice Trainee: 20 posts
• ITI Apprentice Trainee: 25 posts

Eligibility Criteria:

• Engineering Graduates: BE/BTech or equivalent
• Non-Engineering Graduates: BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, BBA
• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (relaxation as per government norms)

Selection Process:

• Shortlisting based on academic performance
• Document Verification

Stipend:

• Graduate Apprentices: Rs 9,000/month
• Diploma/ITI Apprentices: Rs 8,000/month

The first list of shortlisted candidates will be released on May 23, 2025. The apprenticeship program will span one year.
