Collector's Directive: Clearing Land Hurdles for Timely Project Completion

The district of Tirupati is set to witness a significant infrastructure boost as Collector Dr S Venkateswar takes charge of expediting key projects. In a recent meeting, the Collector emphasized the urgency of addressing pending land acquisition and construction issues, ensuring that the region's development stays on track. With a keen eye on deadlines, he urged officials to coordinate their efforts and overcome challenges, particularly in land-related matters.

The review encompassed critical projects, including National Highways, Railway enhancements, and the Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor pipeline. The Collector's focus was on the timely execution of these ventures, especially the Renigunta-Chennai six-lane road and railway works in several key locations. He instructed officials from various departments, including Revenue Divisional Officers, to collaborate closely with National Highway authorities, emphasizing quality and timely delivery. The meeting, attended by officials from Tirupati, Nellore, and Chennai, as well as RDOs from Sullurpet and Tirupati, underscored the importance of inter-departmental synergy.

Dr Venkateswar's directive highlighted the need for a unified approach, especially for projects under the Sagarmala scheme. He instructed departments like Roads and Buildings, Panchayat Raj, and Irrigation to jointly oversee progress, ensuring that land acquisition and construction hurdles do not impede development. With this concerted effort, the district aims to transform its infrastructure landscape, connecting communities and fostering economic growth. The Collector's office is now geared towards ensuring that these directives are translated into swift action, marking a new phase of efficient project management in the region.
