TCS Leads in IT Exports; Pinnacle Infotech and Deloitte Recognized for Contributions

At the STPI Export Awards 2022-23, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was honored as the top IT exporter from West Bengal in the Rs 3,000 crore and above category. The award, presented by the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), highlights TCS’s significant role in the state's IT export sector. IBM India Private Limited was acknowledged as the leading IT/ITES exporter in the Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 3,000 crore category.

The awards ceremony, part of the ABP Group’s Infocom 2023 event in Calcutta, also recognized several other key players in the industry. Pinnacle Infotech Solutions was celebrated for both its export achievements and its role as a major job creator in Tier II/III regions of West Bengal. Deloitte Consulting India Pvt Ltd was commended for its commitment to employing differently-abled individuals, while LTIMindtree Limited was recognized for creating new jobs within the Rs 100 crore to Rs 1,000 crore category.

DCG Data-Core Systems (India) Pvt Ltd received accolades for its efforts in employing women, and HCL Technologies Ltd was acknowledged for its significant growth and job creation in the Rs 25 crore to Rs 100 crore export category.

These awards underscore the growing prominence of West Bengal’s IT sector and the significant contributions of these companies to the industry’s development and innovation.
