On Sunday, Dr Ponguru Narayana, the municipal administration and urban development minister, inaugurated the new signal systems, a project worth Rs.1.39 crore, at four key locations: Haranadhapuram, Ramalingapuram, VRC Centre, and Kanakamahal Centre. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance traffic management and improve the daily commute for Nellore residents.

The inauguration ceremony was a testament to the collaborative efforts of various political and administrative figures. Minister Narayana was joined by MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, NUDA chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy, TDP leader Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy, and SP Ajitha Vejendla, highlighting the project's importance and impact on the city's development. Nellore Rural TD in-charge, Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy, emphasized that the minister's initiatives have been instrumental in accelerating development.
