Mahesh Babu Foundation Extends Lifesaving Care to the Youngest Hearts

The Mahesh Babu Foundation (MBF) remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding the health and future of children by providing critical medical support to those in need. In collaboration with Andhra Hospitals, the foundation continues to bring hope to families facing complex pediatric health challenges, especially congenital heart conditions that require immediate and specialized care.

One such touching case is that of Bhanuja Sree, a 5-month-old infant, daughter of P. Surya, diagnosed with a large mid muscular Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) along with mild to moderate mitral regurgitation. Given the seriousness of her condition at such a young age, timely surgical intervention was crucial. With the support of the Mahesh Babu Foundation, Bhanuja was admitted on 02 September 2025 and successfully underwent surgical closure of VSD along with mitral valve repair on 08 September 2025. She was discharged in stable condition on 11 September 2025.

This successful procedure marked a new beginning not only for the child but also for her family, who were relieved of both emotional and financial burdens. The expert medical care provided by Andhra Hospitals, combined with the foundation’s compassionate initiative, ensured that Bhanuja received the best possible treatment at the right time.

Through such initiatives, the Mahesh Babu Foundation continues to reaffirm its belief that every child—no matter how young—deserves a healthy start in life. Each healed heart reflects the foundation’s enduring mission of compassion, care, and hope.
