The Mahesh Babu Foundation (MBF) continues to uphold its dedication to transforming young lives by supporting children with critical medical needs. In partnership with Andhra Hospitals, the foundation remains a beacon of hope for families confronting complex pediatric heart conditions that demand timely and specialized intervention.
A recent example of this compassionate commitment is the case of Dondapati Venkata Naga Jyothika, a 9-year-old girl and daughter of Rambabu, who was diagnosed with a large secundum Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). This congenital heart condition, if untreated, can significantly impact a child’s growth, stamina, and overall quality of life. Recognizing the urgency, Jyothika was admitted on 21 July 2025 so she could receive immediate medical attention.
With the support of the Mahesh Babu Foundation, Jyothika underwent a device closure of ASD on 23 July 2025—a minimally invasive cardiac procedure that effectively seals the defect without the need for open-heart surgery. Thanks to the expertise of the team at Andhra Hospitals, the surgery was successful, and Jyothika recovered quickly. She was discharged in stable condition on 25 July 2025, marking a new chapter filled with renewed strength and hope.
For Jyothika and her family, this life-changing treatment relieved both emotional distress and financial strain. Through such impactful interventions, the Mahesh Babu Foundation continues to demonstrate its unwavering mission: ensuring that every child receives the care they deserve and a chance to lead a healthy, promising life.
