Mahesh Babu Foundation Brings Healing and Hope to Young Satya Sai

The Mahesh Babu Foundation (MBF) continues its heartfelt mission of supporting children with critical medical needs, ensuring that families facing complex health challenges never walk alone. Through its strong partnership with Andhra Hospitals, the foundation remains dedicated to providing timely, life-changing cardiac interventions for young patients across the region.

A recent example of this impactful work is the case of Hema Venkata Satya Sai, a 10-year-old boy and son of Satti Babu. Satya Sai was diagnosed with a small to moderate Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA)—a congenital heart condition that, if not treated in time, can lead to long-term complications affecting a child’s breathing, stamina, and overall development. Recognizing the need for prompt intervention, Satya Sai was admitted on 23 June 2025 for further evaluation and care.

With the support of the Mahesh Babu Foundation, Satya Sai underwent device closure of PDA on 30 June 2025, a minimally invasive cardiac procedure that effectively seals the opening without the need for open-heart surgery. Thanks to the expertise of the medical team at Andhra Hospitals, the operation was successful, and the young boy made a smooth recovery. He was discharged in stable condition on 01 July 2025, much to the relief and joy of his parents.

For Satya Sai’s family, this support eased both emotional and financial burdens, allowing their son to receive the best possible care. Through such compassionate initiatives, the Mahesh Babu Foundation continues to reaffirm its unwavering vision of giving every child a healthy and hopeful future.
