Hyderabad Gears Up for Presidential Visit, Traffic to Be Affected

Hyderabad, a bustling metropolis in India, is gearing up for a high-profile visit from President Droupadi Murmu, which will bring both excitement and temporary disruptions to the city's rhythm. The President's journey from Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bolaram to the Brahma Kumaris centre in Gachibowli on Saturday afternoon promises to be a spectacle, but it also comes with a price: significant traffic congestion.

The Cyberabad traffic police have issued a warning, predicting moderate to heavy traffic jams between 3 pm and 7 pm along several key stretches. This congestion will impact major junctions like Gachibowli, IIIT, and ITC Kohenoor, where regulated movement and security protocols will be in place. The route from Road No. 45 via the Cable Bridge to the Brahma Kumaris centre will be particularly affected, passing through various landmarks such as the IKEA flyover, Orbit Ration Road, and the Deloitte stretch.

The Hyderabad traffic police have also announced specific restrictions for December 20th, with two time slots, 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm to 6:35 pm, when traffic will be halted along a designated route. This route encompasses various intersections, including Bison signal, RSI circle, Navy House, and several other key locations, ensuring a smooth and secure passage for the President's convoy.

As the city prepares for this prestigious visit, residents are advised to plan their travel accordingly, considering the anticipated congestion. The temporary inconvenience is a small price to pay for the honor of hosting the President and ensuring her safety during her visit to the Brahma Kumaris centre.
