Hyderabad Police Raid Exposes Teen Drug Party

In a shocking revelation, Hyderabad police have uncovered a dangerous trend among the city's youth, with a recent raid on a farmhouse party revealing a disturbing mix of drugs, alcohol, and minors. The event, marketed as the Trap House Party, attracted 65 attendees, including an alarming number of teenagers, some as young as 15. This illegal rave, organised by a second-year college student named Ishaan, has brought to light critical issues regarding youth safety and the potential involvement of international criminal networks.

The Special Operations Team (SOT) of the Cyberabad police conducted the raid at Cherry Oaks Farmhouse in Moinabad, acting on intelligence about a suspected drug-fuelled gathering. The operation exposed a well-planned, ticketed event, promoted extensively on Instagram, targeting young adults and teenagers. The organisers charged Rs 1,600 for single entries and Rs 2,800 for couples, creating an enticing atmosphere with loud music and dim lights.

Among the attendees, 25 were minors, with reports suggesting up to 50 underage individuals, including at least five girls. The police also found a significant international element, with foreign liquor, digital ticket sales, and attendees from other countries. This raises concerns about cross-border criminal activities and the potential exploitation of minors in such events.

"We are deeply concerned about the trend of such parties, which pose a serious threat to our youth," said a senior police official. "The involvement of minors and the international dimension has made this a high-priority investigation." The police have registered cases under various laws, including the NDPS Act, and are conducting digital forensic probes to unravel the full extent of this illegal operation. This raid serves as a stark reminder of the need for heightened vigilance and stricter measures to protect vulnerable youth from falling prey to such dangerous activities.
