The project, once completed, will also facilitate the irrigation of over 600,000 acres of land, significantly enhancing agricultural prospects in the region. The Paleru Project, another ambitious endeavor, aims to harness the Godavari River's waters to irrigate the drought-prone areas of Khammam and Prakasam districts, promising to transform the agricultural landscape for thousands of farmers.

The Minister further assured the public that the government is actively working towards resolving water-related challenges. "We are determined to make Andhra Pradesh a water-secure state.
