Additionally, the department has set aside Rs 78 crore for the development of 57 ancient temples in the Nellore district, showcasing a commitment to preserving the region's cultural heritage.

The Vedagiri Narasimha Swamy Devasthanams, with its vast land bank of 1,100 acres nestled in hilly terrain, is poised to contribute significantly to the solar project. Minister Anam emphasized the mutual benefits of this arrangement, stating that the lease would generate an annual rental income of Rs 3 crore for the Devasthanams while providing the Nellore Municipal Corporation with the necessary land for their renewable energy endeavors.
