This initiative, part of the Safe Mobility campaign, aims to empower women to report incidents of groping and flashing, with a swift and coordinated response from authorities.

The program involves a network of first responders, including bus conductors and auto drivers, who will be the initial point of contact for victims. By dialing 100/112 or reporting to these transport personnel, women can trigger an immediate response. The WSW has strategically partnered with various transport entities, including TGSRTC, Metro Rail, the transport department, ICCC, private bus operators, and auto associations, to ensure a unified front against harassment. Each participating department will appoint a dedicated nodal officer to facilitate smooth coordination.

"The new system eliminates the anonymity that often emboldens offenders in public spaces," said a WSW official, emphasizing the importance of this collaborative effort.
