TTD Brings Tirumala Traditions to Hyderabad: Brahmotsavams, Daily Sevas, and Spiritual Celebrations for Devotees

In Hyderabad, devotees of Lord Venkateswara are set to witness a series of spiritually enriching events and rituals organized by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), bringing the sacred traditions of Tirumala closer to the city.

One of the प्रमुख highlights is the annual Brahmotsavams at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, scheduled from June 3 to 7, 2025. These grand festivities are marked by a sequence of traditional rituals and vibrant Vahana Sevas, including Dhwajarohanam, Shesha Vahanam, Gaja Vahanam, and the highly revered Garuda Vahanam. Each procession symbolizes different divine manifestations of Lord Venkateswara and draws large numbers of devotees who gather to seek blessings and participate in the celebrations.

In addition to this, the Sri Venkateswara Temple hosts Mini Brahmotsavams every year, usually in February. Though smaller in scale, these celebrations are deeply spiritual and focus on special rituals dedicated to Lord Vishnu, offering devotees a meaningful and accessible devotional experience within the city.

Beyond these major events, both temples in Himayathnagar and Jubilee Hills conduct daily and weekly sevas that maintain a continuous spiritual rhythm. Rituals such as Thomala Seva in the early morning and Ekantha Seva at night are performed regularly, along with Tiruppavada Seva on Thursdays and Snapana Thirumanjanam on Fridays. These sevas allow devotees to engage in traditional worship practices similar to those followed in Tirumala.

TTD has also made available a range of authentic devotional materials at these temples. Devotees can obtain Srivari Laddus as prasadam, along with TTD calendars for 2026, diaries, and dhoop sticks. These offerings further enhance the spiritual connection for visitors and bring a part of the Tirumala experience to Hyderabad.

With easy access to temples in Himayathnagar and Jubilee Hills, and the option to check schedules or book services through official TTD platforms, devotees have multiple ways to participate. These events and rituals not only strengthen religious faith but also create a sense of community and devotion, making Hyderabad an important center for TTD activities outside Tirumala.
