Illegal Food Units Busted in Hyderabad

In a series of crackdowns, Hyderabad Police arrested seven people for running illegal food manufacturing units across the city. Authorities found that some units were using rotten eggs to prepare cakes and donuts, posing serious health risks.

In Begum Bazar, a trader was caught repackaging low-quality coconut powder into branded packets and selling it without proper licenses. The products were sourced cheaply and falsely marketed as genuine items.

Additionally, three brothers were arrested for producing adulterated ginger and garlic paste under unhygienic conditions. Police seized food items and materials worth lakhs during the operations.

Officials have warned that strict action will continue against such activities to ensure public safety and food quality.
