Tight security for Sree Ramanavami Shobha Yatra in Hyderabad

Hyderabad Police have made elaborate security arrangements for the Sree Ramanavami Shobha Yatra to be held on Friday, with around one lakh devotees expected to participate in the grand procession.

The yatra will begin from Seetharambagh Temple in Asifnagar and pass through several key areas, including Mangalhat, Dhoolpet, Begum Bazaar, Sultan Bazaar, and Gowliguda, before concluding at Hanuman Vyamshala Grounds near Hanuman Tekdi. Multiple processions will also be organized by different groups, making the event vibrant and large-scale.

Devotees can expect colourful displays of idols, traditional dance performances, and martial arts shows. Several food and water distribution camps will also be set up along the route for participants.

To ensure safety, police have deployed a large number of personnel, including bomb disposal squads, Rapid Action Force, and special task teams at key locations. Surveillance will be maintained through the command and control centre, along with plainclothes officers and She Teams for added security.

Traffic diversions have been announced, and citizens are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
