A shocking incident was reported from Nalgonda district in Telangana, where a woman allegedly killed a man’s wife and their infant son by setting them on fire. Police said the accused was in a relationship with the woman’s husband.

According to officials, the accused reportedly felt neglected after the man got married. On Saturday afternoon, she went to his house carrying petrol and attacked his 28-year-old wife by pouring fuel and setting her on fire. The woman died due to severe burn injuries.

The couple’s six-month-old son was also injured in the incident and was rushed to a government hospital. However, the infant later succumbed to injuries during treatment.

Police stated that the accused was carrying petrol, a knife, and chilli powder at the time of the attack. The husband was not present at the house during the incident, and authorities are investigating all possible angles, including his role.
