Hyderabad Police Busts Illegal Bakery Making Cakes And Donuts With Rotten Eggs

A shocking food safety violation has come to light in Hyderabad after police busted an illegal bakery unit operating in the Katedan area. The raid was carried out by Mailardevpally police at a unit named “Madurai Meenakshi Food Company.”

According to officials, the factory was producing bakery items such as cakes and donut buns under extremely unhygienic conditions. Police revealed that rotten eggs were being used in the preparation, along with chemicals like sodium benzoate, sorbic acid, and PGPR liquid. These products were then sold in the market as regular bakery goods, raising serious health concerns.

Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, including a supervisor, a manager, and another worker associated with the unit. All the accused are currently in police custody.

Authorities stated that the use of such unsafe ingredients, especially in poor sanitary conditions, poses a significant risk to public health, particularly for children who frequently consume these products.

Police have assured strict action against those involved, and further investigation is ongoing.
