3,000 Kg Adulterated Dairy Products Seized in Hyderabad Raid

In a major crackdown, Hyderabad Police and the Commissioner’s Task Force busted an adulterated dairy manufacturing unit in Banjara Hills. The raid was conducted at a unit named “Pride Dairy,” where fake ghee and dairy products were being produced using low-quality substances.

A 26-year-old man was arrested for allegedly manufacturing adulterated ghee by mixing palm oil, vanaspati, and other inferior ingredients with cow and buffalo cream. Despite having a valid license, the accused was illegally producing and selling these products as pure ghee to the public, hotels, and event organisers.

During the raid, officials seized over 3,000 kg of adulterated dairy items, including large quantities of ghee, cow cream, and buffalo cream. Authorities also confiscated raw materials like vanaspati, used oil packets, and packaging materials.

In addition, several machines and equipment used for production, including boilers, packing machines, and gas cylinders, were seized. The total value of the confiscated items is estimated at over ₹18 lakh.

Police have registered a case and stated that strict action will be taken, as such activities pose serious health risks to consumers.
