In a joint operation, the Cyberabad Police’s Eagle Task Force and Gachibowli Police arrested three individuals involved in an interstate drug network in Hyderabad. The raid was conducted in Kondapur, where officials seized 32 grams of cocaine worth around ₹3.8 lakh.
The main accused, a 24-year-old man from Andhra Pradesh, allegedly entered the drug trade due to financial difficulties. Police said he initially sourced cocaine locally and later built supply links from cities like Goa and Bengaluru. He reportedly bought the drug at lower prices and sold it at a higher rate, making illegal profits.
Investigators revealed that the accused used WhatsApp to communicate with customers and followed a “dead drop” method for deliveries to avoid direct contact. Payments were made through online transactions, often routed through friends’ bank accounts to escape detection.
Two other individuals were also arrested for assisting in the network, including one who helped connect customers and another who was found consuming drugs.
