A road accident in Secunderabad led to heavy traffic congestion near Sardar Patel Road after a motorcyclist was injured on a flyover. To ensure quick rescue and medical assistance, police temporarily stopped vehicles from entering the flyover from key routes, including St. John’s Road and East Maredpally Road.

The restrictions caused long queues of vehicles, including autos, scooters, and cars, resulting in a major traffic bottleneck around the bridge area. Despite the disruption, police efficiently managed the situation and coordinated the rescue operation.

An ambulance reached the spot on time and shifted the injured person to a nearby hospital for treatment. After the situation was brought under control, traffic movement was gradually restored, and entry to the flyover was reopened.

Authorities emphasized that such temporary measures are necessary to ensure timely emergency response and public safety.
