Telangana Farmers Reap Benefits: CM's Rythu Bharosa Initiative

In a significant move to support Telangana's agricultural community, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to disburse the second instalment of the Rythu Bharosa scheme, providing much-needed financial aid to farmers during the ongoing yasangi season. On April 20, the Chief Minister will personally ensure the distribution of funds at a public gathering in Kataram, Bhupalpally district.

This initiative aims to benefit a substantial number of farmers across the state. The scheme covers approximately 1.50 crore acres of farmland in Telangana, demonstrating the government's commitment to farmer welfare. The first instalment, released on March 23, provided immediate relief to 73 lakh farmers, with a total disbursement of Rs. 3,590 crore. Each eligible farmer received Rs. 6,000 per acre, offering crucial support for their agricultural activities.

The upcoming second instalment will further bolster the financial security of Telangana's farmers. It will benefit 45,11,947 farmers, with a cumulative amount of Rs. 5,653 crore. This direct credit into farmers' bank accounts ensures a transparent and efficient distribution process. The Chief Minister's decision to release the funds at a public meeting underscores the government's commitment to ensuring that the benefits reach the intended recipients.

As the state gears up for this significant event, Telangana's farmers anticipate the much-needed financial boost, which will enable them to invest in their farms, purchase necessary resources, and secure their livelihoods. This initiative promises to strengthen the agricultural backbone of Telangana and empower its farming community.
