The Sri Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple in Kaleshwaram, a sacred site nestled on the banks of the Godavari River, is set for a grand transformation. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accompanied by a delegation of ministers, embarked on a spiritual journey to this ancient temple, marking the beginning of a significant development project.

On Monday, the Chief Minister was greeted with traditional warmth at the temple, where he engaged in a series of religious rituals, including Abhishekam and special poojas. The highlight of his visit was the Bhoomi Puja, a sacred ceremony marking the commencement of construction work. The project, estimated at a substantial Rs 200 crore, aims to elevate the pilgrim experience at this historic site. The plans include a modern administrative building, a spacious queue complex to manage the flow of devotees, and upgraded amenities, ensuring a seamless and comfortable darshan for the thousands of pilgrims who visit each year.

This initiative reflects the government's commitment to preserving Telangana's rich cultural heritage while promoting tourism and improving infrastructure. Ministers N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Adluri Laxman Kumar, and Vivek Venkataswamy, along with NDSA Chairman Anil Jain, joined the Chief Minister in this auspicious occasion. The delegation's itinerary also includes a visit to Medigadda to inspect the barrage site, followed by a public meeting at Nasturipalli village, where the second phase of Rythu Bandhu funds will be released, further emphasizing the government's dedication to the region's development.
