AIMIM's Voter Outreach: Clearing Confusion, Ensuring Participation

In a proactive move, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has taken the initiative to educate and assist voters in Hyderabad and Telangana ahead of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. With a comprehensive strategy, the party aims to dispel misconceptions and ensure every eligible voter is accounted for.

AIMIM leaders have established dedicated SIR help desks across seven constituencies, including Chandrayangutta, Charminar, and Yakutpura, to provide hands-on guidance. These physical help desks, strategically set up in each area, are led by local MLAs and party officers, offering a personalized approach to voter engagement. The desks serve as information hubs, explaining the SIR process and encouraging citizens to verify their details in the 2002 SIR list. This initiative is a direct response to the party's appeal for citizens to take the SIR exercise seriously and complete their voter mapping promptly.

The campaign's effectiveness is further enhanced by door-to-door campaigns, where leaders engage directly with residents. Yakutpura MLA Jaffar Hussain Meraj emphasized the importance of family-oriented verification, ensuring the mapping of entire family trees. This approach is particularly evident in areas like Red Hills, where help desks cater to specific communities, including the Bohra community at Masjid-e-Mohammedia.

Asaduddin Owaisi, the party's president, launched a central help desk at the AIMIM headquarters, demonstrating the party's commitment to facilitating voter participation. This comprehensive effort aims to prevent voter exclusion and ensure accurate electoral rolls, fostering a more inclusive and representative democratic process. With AIMIM's proactive measures, Hyderabad's citizens can navigate the SIR process with clarity and confidence.
