On Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan presented a cheque of Rs 1 crore to Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao at his residence in Jubilee Hills. This substantial donation is intended to bolster the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for flood relief efforts in Telangana.
Pawan Kalyan has also committed to providing Rs 1 lakh each to 400 gram panchayats in Andhra Pradesh that have been affected by recent floods. This additional support underscores his broader initiative to address the needs of flood-hit communities across both states.
The donation comes in response to severe flooding that has impacted several regions in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. By contributing to relief funds and providing direct assistance to affected areas, Pawan Kalyan aims to support recovery and rebuilding efforts in the wake of the disaster.
