'Doesn't show up...': BJP leader's dig at Rahul Gandhi for demanding special Parliament session on Operation Sindoor

Rajeev Chandrashekhar, the BJP leader, reacted to Operation Sindoor, targeting Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party. The operation unveiled a strategy of the Congress Party to infiltrate and influence BJP circles at the village level in Gujarat.

"We all know who doesn't show up at the Parliament. It is their own internal dynamics and politics, which has fetched them a zero in the Assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh recently," Rajeev Chandrashekhar, BJP MP and IT Minister, said in a tweet.

His remarks come after Congress' demand for a special session of the parliament to discuss Operation Sindoor in detail. The party wants to discuss "the morality and ethics of the malfeasance."

"Congress Party and its leadership is deeply disturbed and appalled by the unethical and illegal methods employed by the BJP to steal the Gujarat election 2019. Instead of accepting the people's verdict, the BJP's moral compass has gone utterly wrong," Congress spokesperson Aalap Bhinder said in a statement.

It remains to be seen whether the Congress will garner support from other parties in their calls for a special session.
