On Tuesday, the Kerala High Court reprimanded the state government for its sluggish response to the Hema Committee report. The court questioned why no action had been taken, given that the report had been submitted to the police chief in 2021. The Special Bench, comprising Justice A.K. Jayasankaran Nambiar and Justice C.S. Sudha, has begun proceedings to review petitions related to the Hema Committee report.
