Several teams have been busy improving throughout the offseason, here are the most notable ones and the work they've done.
The NFL offseason is a time for teams to re-evaluate themselves, analyze weaknesses, and strengthen their squads where possible to achieve success in the future NFL season.
Here are the top teams that have noticeably improved themselves during this offseason:
1. Miami Dolphins - a team that seems to have had a makeover, with plenty of new faces from the 2022 NFL Draft, and a multitude of free agents signing onto the squad. They've strengthened their offensive line through the acquisition of center Connor Williams, and added some much-needed depth at the receiver position with the signings of Kyland Jackson, Tannehill Auden, and Zach Pascal. On top of this, they've bolstered their defense with the signings of Justin Houston and Cole Van Lanen, and drafted Brandon Joseph and Eric Ebron to further improve this unit.
2. New York Giants - The Giants definitely had a successful draft, adding depth and exciting young talent to their roster. They addressed their offensive line issue by selecting Evan Neal with the 7th pick, and added passing game weaponry with the selection of Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Daniel Bellinger later in the draft. They've put talent in the hands of their new coaching staff, and given themselves a fresh look for the upcoming season.
3. Seattle Seahawks - The Seahawks had a quiet free agency period, but their draft picks have ignited hope in their fanbase. They selected Lincoln Financial Field standout Kenneth Walker III to improve their running game, and added offensive weaponry in the forms of Dee Eskridge, and tight end Will Dissly who's returning after a strong end to the 2021 season. They've also strengthened their defense with the addition of rookie cornerback Tre Brown, and getting Ziggy Ansah back after a year away.
These are just a few of the teams that have had an impressive offseason, but stand out as having made significant improvements.
How these moves will pan out is yet to be seen, but for now, these teams can be proud of the work they've done to try and improve their chances of success for the upcoming season.
