Candidates who will be appearing for the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 have been offered an opportunity to request for an extended time (compensatory time) if they have a disability. This request, according to a recent notice issued by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), should be sent in only via email to the Commission at . The date for sending in these requests is till May 18, 2025, until 4:00 pm.

It is important to note that the UPSC notice regarding compensatory time for candidates with disabilities in UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 clearly states that the request email should be sent directly to the UPSC at the email address mentioned above. Requests received on any other email address or via social media channels will not be eligible for consideration.

As per official records, currently, almost 66000 candidates are scheduled to appear for the UPSC CSE Prelims examination this year.
